Eyeshadow opens your eyes with color!

The use of eyeshadow as part of a woman’s beauty regiment can be traced back thousands of years. There are times and occasions where even men wear eyeshadow although it is much more common on women. Men use it as a dramatic statement or as part of the makeup required if they are actors or entertainers. Very few use it with regularity. Women use it as a staple part of their day. It leaves them with the feeling of extra sparkle for eveningwear or daytime glamour.

When a woman is selecting her eyeshadow, she has many choices to make. She will need to decide if she wants a matte or a shiny finish. There are even sparkling finishes available. She will have the option of using a wet or dry product. A wet eyeshadow tends to last longer on the eyelid than one applied dry. That is all without even considering the endless array of color she has to ponder. It is not necessary to use just one color either. Many make up artists would recommend different shaded on the upper and lower eyelid. The color combination is adapted to suit a woman’s eye color and the choice she has made in her wardrobe.

When the final choices of finish, texture and color have been made, there is still the choice of what the product is made of. Like most cosmetics, eyeshadow comes in standard formulas and in natural formulas. The natural products are less irritating and are preferred by people with allergies or sensitive skin.
