in-cosmetics 2004 in Milan attracts a truly international audience

In-cosmetics 2004 excelled all expectations by attracting an impressive 3,705 visitors to Milan. Including those who revisited the exhibition, the visitor total reached 6,252, rivalling in-cosmetics 2003 and almost doubling the number of visitors who attended in-cosmetics when the show was last in Milan in 1996.

in-cosmetics provides an annual showcase and launch platform for exhibitors from around the world to display new raw materials, ingredients and technologies.

Proving to be truly international, in-cosmetics saw visitors from 87 countries attending to source new products and learn about the latest trends and developments. A total of 43% of visitors came from Italy, 23% from other EU countries, 13% from non-EU countries, 7% from Asia, 5% from North America and 9% from Rest of the World.

The event was officially opened by Vice President of Research and Development for Estée Lauder, Dr Daniel Maes, who commented, The quality of research done in labs in Europe, the US and Asia is overwhelming compared to 15 years ago when in-cosmetics first started.

in-cosmetics provide a forum for suppliers and the cosmetics industry and allows all parties to discuss and share their research.

Mr Preston Brawn, Global Cosmetics Manager from FMC Biopolymer commented, This was our third time exhibiting at in-cosmetics and was by far the most successful, the number of visitors exceeded my expectations. All in all, it was one of the best trade exhibitions I have worked.
