Skate Canada signs partnership with CoverGirl

Skate Canada is thrilled to announce the signing of a sponsorship partnership with Cover Girl (Procter & Gamble Canada Inc.) one of Canada’s most popular cosmetic brands.

"We are extremely pleased to have Cover Girl on board with us, it is such a perfect and natural fit." said Pam Coburn, Chief Executive Officer of Skate Canada "We look forward to forging a mutually positive relationship over the next year."

The sponsorship which is part of Cover Girl's Beauty in Motion awards program complements the sport of figure skating that combines athleticism with beauty, and includes a national promotion featuring three time Canadian Champion Josée Chouinard.

The promotion, which gets underway in the fall, provides rewards to the Skate Canada club that collects the highest number of Cover Girl product codes (UPCs) in their region. The club will receive an on-ice training session with Chouinard for their club members plus an Easy, Breezy, Beauty - On and Off the Ice beauty presentation from her on how to look great on and off the ice, as well as, Chouinard's personal beauty tips and Cover Girl cosmetics for each member of their club. Four awards will be presented, one in each region between February and March in Eastern, Western and Central Canada and Quebec.

Another 11 clubs, who have collected the next highest number of product codes, nationally will receive Cover Girl gift packs.

Cover Girl joins Skate Canada’s national sponsor family which includes corporate leaders BMO Financial Group, MasterCard Canada, Air Canada, Centrum Vitamins, Hershey Canada and Movado watches.
