Convertium to develop new global marketing website for IZU cosmetics

Convertium Pte Ltd, a Singapore interactive content management company providing Internet strategies and solutions, has been appointed by The Art of Makeup, Inc., to design and develop a global marketing website for IZU cosmetics. The Art of Makeup, Inc., is the principal owner of IZU cosmetics.

The website, www.izucosmetics.com, is conceptualised, designed and built by Convertium as part of The Art of Makeup, Inc.'s strategy to increase IZU cosmetics' brand awareness and recognition, especially in this region. While IZU cosmetics is a well-known boutique brand in Western markets, it is still a best kept secret in Asia. Some of the famous faces who love IZU cosmetics include Julia Roberts, Nicole Kidman, Gwyneth Paltrow, Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, Charlize Theron, Jennifer Aniston, Kirstie Alley, Susan Saradon, and the cast of Sex and the City.

The website will showcase IZU. cosmetics' entire range of products including Gel-F'sure Foundation, Eyeshadow & Blush; Shimmering Powder; Mascara; Eye Concealer; Face Concealer; Lipstick; Lip Pencil; Lip Gloss; Nail Polish; and Cosmetic Brushes. Regional users of the website will be able to place orders for the products, after viewing the detailed range of items and colours.

When launched in December, 2002, the website will present IZU cosmetics as the vanguard of the new millennium trend of healthy simplicity, with dedication to the pursuit of beauty with grace, style and wit. Core website target audiences are female PMEBs, and makeup & beauty professionals.

Besides a strong emphasis on aesthetics, the website is also constructed to facilitate a natural user self-service experience. The online walk-through and exploration of the products will be familiar to anyone who has purchased cosmetics before. As part of its services, Convertium will also be managing the website on an on-going basis. This includes working with The Art of Makeup, Inc.'s marketing team to build traffic and run e-marketing activities.
